KYCIS was founded by engineers whose professional work has been dedicated to commercial thermodynamic software for the oil and gas industry. That work spans acid gas treatment, PVT modeling, hydrate prediction, tank emission compliance, and real-time pipeline dew point calculations.

This is not a recent market pivot. Thermodynamics for natural gas is the domain we know best, and it is what KYCIS is built to do.

Founder Background

Career dedicated to natural gas thermodynamic software.

Our founder’s career has been spent building commercial thermodynamic software for oil and gas applications — from acid gas treatment and PVT modeling to hydrate prediction, tank emission compliance, and real-time pipeline dew point calculations supporting North American operating environments.

That experience shapes every part of how DPCloud is designed: how calculation results need to be trusted, how engineering software has to behave in operations, and how deployment realities affect what teams can actually use.

DPCloud is independently engineered today — built from first principles for modern deployment and modern integration requirements.

Why KYCIS Exists

A specific problem, addressed on purpose.

KYCIS was founded to solve a recurring problem: operators and engineers need dependable dew point and phase behavior calculations in environments where aging software, black-box tools, or inflexible deployment models are no longer good enough.

Pipeline operations, gas processing, and process engineering teams work under conditions where approximations are not acceptable — production is running, decisions are time-critical, and calculations need to be consistent, auditable, and available where the work happens.

We built DPCloud for those environments — one focused problem, addressed on purpose.
